Queen of Peace Bakery will once participate in the Ebensburg Potato Fest - 9 a.m.-5 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 27. As in past years, our stands will be in the grassy area across from the Matevish Home, North Center Street. The Patton Volunteer Fire Co., #1 will again provide the annual Fire Prevention event for home-schooled families on Monday, October 13. This event will consist of individual presentations for elementary age, teenage, and adult participants. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until approx. 1 p.m. at the Fire Station (410 Magee Avenue, Patton). Sandwiches and bottled water will be provided; you may also bring your own lunch. St. Demetrius Annual Chicken BBQ Dinner and Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, September 28, in the Parish Activity Center (formerly St. Mary’s Hall).
