May 2 - Film "The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady" +++ Why Pray the Rosary? What happens when we do? Are we in a spiritual battle? Many questions are discussed in a talk given by Father Donald Calloway MIC, entitled “The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady.” +++ Two (2) presentations will be shown at the Parish Center on Thurs., May 2, at 8:30 a.m. (after morning Mass) & again at 6:30 p.m., for those who can’t make it in the morning. The film is approx. 90 minutes in duration. It’s informative, thought provoking & entertaining. This may help enrich your spiritual journey. All are welcome!!
A sincere thank you to *everyone* who helped make our Annual Lenten Fish Dinners another **huge!** success. Thank you to all the workers for the jobs that they do so well, each & every week, those of you who donated the delicious desserts & the countless others who help in so many ways. No job is too small, & for all of you, we are extremely grateful, because without all of you, this doesn’t happen... Special Thanks to everyone who came & dined with us each week. Today is Divine Mercy Sunday There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 3 p.m., followed by recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and private prayer from 3:15 – 3:45 p.m. Litany will follow. Devotions will close with Benediction at 4 p.m.
Special Thanks to the Knights of Columbus, Queen of Angels Council for paying for a “newer” mixer for the Parish Center kitchen, in the amount of $2,500. We thank you very much, & we pray that Almighty God will bless you for your generosity.
