Carrolltown Fire Co. Mini-Jubilee 2025 will take place on Saturday, August 9, & Sunday, August 10. A Basket Auction will be held on Saturday from 4-7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., with over 150 baskets to bid on. Drawings will be Sunday at 6 p.m. Come and enjoy a turkey dinner on Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., dine in or take out. Dinners are $14/each, kids 3 and under eat for free (dine in only)... On August 9, 2025, a Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Patton Fire Company No. 1 to benefit the Family of Gary "Hector" Helbig who passed away unexpectedly. Dinners, $10 each, will be available for dine-in or takeout. Baked goods will also be available for sale. Lou Who's Pizza and Pasta and the Queen of Peace Church will provide the food.

St. Benedict Church, Carrolltown, is hosting their Annual Church Festival beginning Friday, July 25 – Sunday, July 27 on their Church grounds. The festival will feature a basket raffle, bingo, games, food booths, beer tent, live musical entertainment and fireworks. The festival grounds will open on Friday at 4 PM. Saturday, July 26, the grounds open at Noon, followed by Mass at 4 PM and fireworks at 10 PM. A chicken dinner will be served on Sunday, July 27 from 11 AM – 2 PM. Our 2nd annual Mass and Picnic at Greenhouse Park was a success with 20+ in attendance including children and 3 Catholic Priests from the Roman and Byzantine Rites. Theology on Tap is a week early with Fr. Basil Cole OP, from Washington D.C., joining us on Wednesday, July 23 at the Boulevard Grill, 165 Southmont Blvd., Johnstown, at 6 PM. Friday, August 8 is a Rosary and bonfire at Greenhouse Park at 6 PM, and Saturday, August 9 at 9 AM is our 2nd annual hike at Laurel Highlands Trail Route 56 Trailhead.

~Queen of Peace Golden Rule Preschool, 600 Palmer Ave., Patton, PA~
We are currently accepting new enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a nondenominational preschool with two programs. We offer a Preschool (age 3) and a Pre-K (age 4). The programs focus on socialization and basic preschool/Pre-K skills. Classes are held 2 days/week, 8:30 AM – Noon. Class sizes are kept to a minimum to maintain a teacher/child ration that guarantees that each child receives the attention they need to assist them in achieving the skills that they will need for kindergarten. St. Joan of Arc Parish, 692 Glendale Valley Blvd., Fallen Timber, invites you to attend their Annual Parish Festival and Turkey Dinner on Sunday, July 20, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at their Church Hall in Frugality.
